Bruce Lipton

Bruce H. Lipton, PhD, scientist, researcher, teacher, and author, is driven by a passion to bring scientific evidence directly to the people his information could assist everyone. Because of the importance of his discoveries about mind over matter he well may become one of the key figures of this century.

His journey of discovery began as a cell biologist cloning stem cells to understand their control mechanism. This research was undertaken while teaching cell anatomy to medical school students at the University of Wisconsin. Further research conducted at Stanford’s School of Medicine revealed that genes were turned on and off, not by the genes themselves, but through external, environmental stimuli. These radical findings ran contrary to the long-held assumptions of genetic determinism and became one of the early heralds of an emerging scientific understanding called epigenetics.

Energy Medicine

Ann Marie Chiasson, MD
has spent a number of years exploring and practicing Energy Medicine which is the ancient art of working with the subtle or energy body to improve health and vitality. Dr. Chiasson incorporates hands on healing and other techniques that change, stimulate, add or shift the underlying energy that is associated with the disease process and utilizes the transformational tools of meditation, movement, dream work, psychospiritual counseling, and indigenous healing practices.

Dr. Chiasson has a private integrative practice in Tucson, AZ where she offers consultations, treatments, seminars and retreats. She teaches at the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona and has co-facilitated spirituality and healing conferences.  She is the co-author of Self-Healing with Energy Medicine (Sounds True, 2009) with Dr. Andrew Weil.  Dr. Chiasson is also set to release in 2011 a DVD, Energy Healing for Beginners and a home study course, Energy Healing: The Essentials of Self-Care.

Alberto Villoldo

Trained as a psychologist and medical anthropologist, Alberto Villoldo,
Ph.D. began his research in the Amazon, working with medicine people
who had mastered "the journey beyond death." His investigations led him
to the high mountains of the Andes and the Inka medicine people, where
he discovered a group of healers who specialized in treating illness
before it manifested in the physical body. They worked not in the
physical body itself, but on the Luminous Energy Field (LEF)
surrounding it.

In 1984, Dr. Villoldo founded the Four Winds Society to bring the
teachings of these master healers to the West. The Four Winds Society
is preserving a thousand year old tradition of knowledge to achieve
personal and planetary healing.

Prior to founding The Four Winds Society, Dr. Villoldo founded and
directed the Bio-Self Regulation Laboratory at San Francisco State
University, investigating the effects of energy healing on blood and
brain chemistry. Dr. Villoldo also founded The Sanctuary Project, which
provides support and shelter to indigenous master healers as they
descend from the Andes to live in Peruvian cities.

Dr. Villoldo's books include: Mending the Past, Healing the Future with
Soul Retrieval (2005); Shaman, Healer, Sage (2000); The First Story
Ever Told (with E. Jendresen, 1996); Island of the Sun (with E.
Jendresen, 1994); Dance of the Four Winds, Secrets of the Inca Medicine
wheel (with E. Jendresen, 1994); Healing States (with
Stanley Krippner, Ph.D., 1985); Millenium, Glimpse into the 21st
Century (1980); The Multi-Cultural Developmental Inventory and Guide to
Early Education (1978); and The Realms of Healing (with Stanley
Krippner, Ph.D., 1976).
